Today is the day! We are now officially (tiny)home-owners.
We met with our builder to do a final walk-through of the house and verify that all the electrical, plumbing, and appliances were in full working order.
One hiccup that had to be fixed was the u-bend in the sink that needed to be re-attached, but it only took a few minutes to re-mount it and verify that it wouldn’t leak.
We spent two hours going over everything to our satisfaction and what our builder is was still responsible for finishing. It’s a bit of a long list but our house is LIVABLE.
Now, to finish moving in all our stuff and make it a HOME.

Congratulations, your tiny house is beautiful! Who was your builder?
It was constructed by Nathan Light and crew at http://tinysmarthouse.com/ down in Albany, OR.
I just saw all the rest of your pictures and I have to say I love your counter top and the bathroom looks big! I’m thinking of building one myself (or having someone build it for me or provide considerable help), is there anything you would have done differently? For example I have a cat, too, but I think a special little hidden cat corner would make sense to keep the litter box out from the living room…or is that too trivial of a detail to worry about? Thanks!! I LOVE your tiny house (and I’m definitely jealous!)!
Congrats! We live in just over 200 sq. ft. with 2 dogs – looking forward to following you.
